And with her Virgo perfectionist tendencies, Becky has been known to follow a client to the parking lot in pursuit of a stray end!

Born and raised in the Bay Area, there were a lot of influences that helped create her unique techniques. From classic to funky, she pulls inspiration from movies, TV and music. She loves to cut and color equally and create long lasting styles putting her 15 years of experience into motion. She loves consistently improving her education with classes including American Crew, Enjoy, Davines, Joico, Paul Mitchell, and Toni & Guy. You will feel comfortable in her hands and she’s always interested in making the clients happy.

Kasia was born and raised in Southern California and traded one beach for another to attend UC Santa Cruz.

After living in the Bay Area for several years she decided that the office life was not the life for her and attended beauty school in San Francisco to fulfill a childhood dream of being a hair stylist. She did her apprenticeship in Berkeley at Peter Thomas Salon where she was trained in Bumble and Bumble cuts and Goldwell color. She loves that there is always something new to learn in this dynamic field. She likes piña coladas but she doesn’t like getting caught in the rain.

I went right from high school in San Jose, Ca., into a cosmetology program, finished that and was soon at one of the most prominent African-American salons in my new home, Oakland, Ca. It was a struggle at first, getting a career off the ground, working strictly on commission.
One of the main things I learned was the value of consistency — showing up for work every morning at 10, and staying all the way through for at least eight hours, whether I had any appointments or not. I figured that my job — my career — was something to take seriously, so I committed myself to a strong work ethic. I built my clientele one walk-in customer at a time, and five years after obtaining my license, I opened my own shop in downtown Oakland.
I have thrived ever since, embracing the challenge of keeping ahead of an ever-changing profession, expanding my repertoire with new techniques in color, braiding, extensions, chemical processes, and more. There are always new classes to take, new products to learn about. For me, hairstyling never gets old.

Jessica is a Bay Area native. With 15 years experience in the industry, one of her natural talents is helping anyone to feel comfortable in her presence. Being able to truly listen to her client’s needs helps deliver a more personalized hair experience. She specializes in textures for cuts and color. Jessica graduated from Elite Progressive School of Cosmetology in Stockton, California after becoming her friend’s trusted hairstylist. She has always had a calling for hair! She was trained in Toni & Guy haircutting along with Goldwell color line. Jessica currently uses Alfaparf hair color which is progressive in technology with low toxic, vegan hair color trends. Currently, she does her best keeping up her education to stay on top of her skills and trends.
